2101 a garden design by Warnes McGarr, wins gold at the Royal Horticultural society show at Tatton Park this week. We had the privilege to supply some of our tiles, to this amazing space.
Taking place in the heart of Knutsford, Cheshire between 19th-23rd July. Tatton park plays host to one of the the most exciting flower shows of the year. Warnes McGarr named the Show Garden ‘2101’, visualising what the British garden would look like in the future. This pioneering design draws upon a potential future reality of how climate change may transform the classic British garden and imagines what outdoor life may be like with, a predicted 7ºC temperature increase.
We supplied several anti-slip, Magnum oversized porcelain slabs in Ardoise Ecru. Boasting in the format of 3.2×1.5m and with only a 6mm thickness. These slabs are strong, versatile and light making them perfect for this project. If you’d like to find out more about the Magnum Slabs visit our collection page here.
On Tuesday each garden was judged and awarded accordingly, Warnes McGarr came out with a gold for ‘Best future spaces’ and for ‘Best Construction’. We’re extremely happy and proud to of been part of such an amazing project! Here are some the images from the show; #2101 Garden design.
The garden was also featured on BBC Gardeners world on Thursday night. If you’d like to check it our click here. In addition check out the video below of Tatton highlights!
