Refin’s latest stone collection; Twist, was released at this year’s Milan Design Week. Designed for Refin by Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara di Pinto, the creative director of Swedish company Studiopepe, Twist was inspired by the interweaving texture of fabrics.
Twist is an idea that incorporates the versatility of porcelain stoneware with the delicacy of fabrics. Whilst incorporating Geometry as another key concept of this collection. The cuts and partitions made directly on the ceramic surface create almost infinite geometrical combinations. The collection focuses mainly on industry professionals, such as architects and interior designers, who are looking for innovative and courageous proposals.
The collection consists of two surface textures, Tailor and Tatami, which are available in five colours. These include the classic black and white, trend – similar to terracotta, and two half tones – grey and beige. The Tangram decoration completes the collection, which is only available in the Tailor pattern; a two-tone black and white variant.
