On the 25th April we attended the Tile Association Awards 2014 in which we were shortlisted for 2 categories; Best use of tile in a domestic project and Best use of tile in a commercial project.
We are proud to announce we were successful in obtaining the award for ‘Best use of tile in a domestic project’. It was said that the level of attention to detail was what made this project stand out.
The TTA Awards, held in London for the first time and attended by over 300 guests, have recognised the brightest and best individuals from the industry, the most innovative new products and the sector’s best and most interesting projects. Trophy’s were awarded in 17 categories with scores of finalists present to see their contribution to the tiling industry recognised.
Many of the leading companies in the industry attended – manufacturers, contractors, distributors – attracted by the ‘London Calling!’ theme, since the Awards this year were held in a central London venue for the first time. Organised by The Tile Association, the event had a fresh new feel for 2014 and is now definitely the ‘must-attend’ event of the year for the tiling industry. Hosted by Emma Jesson from ITV, the day also raised over £3,000 for the Association’s nominated charity of the year – The Children Today Charitable Trust.
The increasingly high profile TTA Awards once again attracted some of the biggest names in the industry as event sponsors. These included: BAL, FILA Surface Care Products, James Hardie, Laticrete, Mapei, Rubi, and Schlüter Systems.
This award marks a great achievement for Casa Ceramica Tile Co and with many more exciting projects in the pipeline we are hoping this will be the first of many.
